Our emotions influence the way we think and behave. Our thoughts determine our decisions. But these are not enough on their own. If we go about our lives and only focus on one aspect of our being then we are not creating balance in life.
We are driven only by emotions when facts and thoughts don’t have any place in our life. Then we are simply impulsive. Also on the other hand, we can only be thoughtful and process facts before making any decisions. This is when we don’t take into consideration our feelings and emotions.
Both scenarios will take us off balance, what we need to do instead is to take both emotion and thoughts into consideration. Then we can make decisions while considering our emotions and thoughts. This helps us to increase our wellbeing and to get better at decision making.
