We sometimes get to a point when we say we want to change the way we think, feel and behave. We want to do something that belongs to us, we want new commitments to a greater cause. Something we can work hard and make ourselves feel proud, something with special meaning and purpose. This is when we know what we want and work hard to achieve it that we have the bliss of life. This is when we can feel that we are accomplishing what we want. Whatever stage we are in life, we need to strive for what we believe give our life meaning and make our life meaningful. We also need to remember that our beliefs are products of our thoughts and therefore we need to be flexible to change them depending on our experiences and circumstances. This change requires transformation, it requires dedication, good attitude, acceptance and taking responsibility for ourself.
Our commitment to change, needs to be something we enjoy doing and we are serious about. This needs to be an acceptance of our current state of affaires. We need to take account of our past knowledge, our present being and changes that we experience throughout our life. Usually this involves family, goal, passion, meaning and purpose in life. This means that as long as we find meaning in our task then it is easier to do that task in any moment given. There is power in belonging, when a task truly belongs to us, we do everything in our power to understand it by conforming to it, by evaluating it, and lastly to reflect on it.
In our life, what we have to do is to learn from our life lessons and channel our life story towards something that we care about. This channelling is about not losing our resources by doing unwanted tasks. We need to strive to achieve what makes our life meaningful, this is about being connected to our true self, to a self that takes account of our life script and goes beyond societal introjections. We need to be able to dance with life and have relational interplay with life, while taking account of the environments and its impact on us. There are two levels to our life events, one is us and our relation to it, and the other is the contradiction of us with the situation we are in, and the duality of choices. Now when we can transform ourself within this contradiction and bring about a new order is when we have the right commitment towards ourself and our life. Our commitment is what keeps us going, it is difficult but it is worth the effort, when we are determined to achieve our goal, and are prepared to be flexible to change it as and when required then our life end result is priceless.
