    Character and formation of new possibilities

    We form our character by doing and being what we decide and the choices we make. Some of these choices are given to us by family, friends and society in general. Some of these choices are what we truly decide in our life. Being ourself is defined by decisions we make and in order to make authentic decisions, we need to have a clear mind. We have our state of mind at every moment of time, some will stay with us, and some are stepping stones for thoughts, values and beliefs we shape. This is the state mind that is the beginning point of shaping our character. We see ourself and others through our thoughts and beliefs, our character forms every time we try to make a decision and add to our self knowledge and beliefs. Our thoughts can improve or refute our state of being and it has different properties. We can change the surface of this mind state or we can change it fundamentally depending on our attitude, dedication and motivation. This change is dependent on our decisions and our actions.

    We are all in the same state when it comes to life decisions, because we are in present state and we make decision depending on our prior experiences but in what we do, we are different, because we make decision according to our environment and free will. Once decision is made and the event and the action takes place then our posterior knowledge gets shaped and differs. We have our unique way of living tailored to us and this is dependent on our background, our current situation, current relations and our environment. This is part of our character formation and character transformation.

    How we think about ourselves and our choices depends on our perception of ourselves, others and life. At any point we may make right or wrong decisions, the point is trying to improve our character, and our life. We put in place various barriers in our life, and these barriers are our own making from past, to break these barriers we need to keep an open mind, and be aware that these barriers were meant to protect us. These protections are a form of our resilience when they are healthy boundaries and they become part of our character and our self and life awareness.
