There is birth at every corner
Then as we move and get older
We have only on thing as our holder
Protecting us in all eternity timing
We Feel it, we fear it and accept it
We think it, we avoid it and receive it
We decode our state of being
While end up dying and evolving
We have only on thing as our truth
We have decay as our reality
We have death and only death
A complete chapter in our life,
It is complete and a valid word
When we want to get to tomorrow
We have to be complete and ready
Our purpose is to include a finish line
It is but to experience future destruction
We build a home from its foundation
To destroy it again and rebuild it
It is in our nature to blend
But our reality also blends with us
Every step we take in our corner
A shadow is aged in every moment
Our time changes as we get older
Our life changes as we experience
We travel towards our last stop,
After all, considering all these changes
Death remains the same throughout,
Shadow has lack of strength on its own
Since it doesn’t change at all
It is constant and remains that way
Therefore we need light, we need rebirth,
We need energy, we need life
We need drive, we need newness
As death needs us, we need ourselves,
So appreciate your presence
Be thankful to be you, as beautiful as you are
Sometimes death and being aware of our finite destiny is the only thing that can prepare us to face life as it is. There is a lot in life that we need to consider when it comes to facing life challenges. What is interesting is that by knowing that there is an end to our story, this can be a motivator for us to be ourselves. To see life as it is and live in life to the extent that would help us prepare ourselves for what is in our way in future. What puts life and death as part of life into prospective is innocent suffering. How can we explain a child suffering? How can we convince ourselves that there is is a greater plan for this? We may say that we don’t want this reward and plan for the sake of a child suffering. This is not justified, this reasoning is not about god and benevolent plan. This reasoning is about finding a justifiable explanation for the standard answer of human mind doesn’t have the capacity to understand the greater plan. One may argue that there is choice, people have the capability and capacity to be both good and bad, and it is their choice that determines where they stand. In one hand there is the internal world of person and freedom to choose, and in other hand the terrible choices made by many to harm innocent beings over gain of power and not being stopped by benevolent being. In one hand we have material world (basic needs), in other we have supernatural world (certainty of life), and lastly we have power struggle (social order). We, humans are in the middle of all these around us, what is our way out? Is our freedom to choose, more important than our happiness and security (need to suffer)?
These are difficult questions and answering them is not an easy task. In my opinion, One side of the argument is about why we are where we are? We don’t know the answer to this at the moment. Another side of the argument is that how we can make best use of what we have? The second has an answer in my opinion and the answer is a combination; There needs to be a combination of faith and our individual choice, and only when we are falling like a child going towards our decay as we grow older while embracing our fate, we can have an understanding of our will to power (individualism), making sense of life, its social relations and our very basic need to cultivate our potentials for both good and bad, while making choices freely along the way. Knowing this will help us live a more authentic, and connected life, with death as our finishing line. This finishing line is the very starting line that motivates us to have right attitude towards our being.
