It is not truly possible to be the best version of ourselves, because our best version adopts to our environment all the time, our best version is an unattainable goal because it is constantly changing, nevertheless it is something we should aim for, it is something we can work towards while knowing that the point is to only be compared to ourselves in our past. There are times that our beliefs resist and challenge us to the core! It is good then to have friends on our side, our best friend is our kindness to ourselves. When we talk, listen and discuss issues, we associate these words with ideas, and these ideas trigger a story for us, and we create categories and schemas from these stories, shaping our lives. It is important to be aware of this process, as it helps us regulate ourselves. Don’t overflow yourself with unwanted information, instead understand your mind process, analyse events, associate, and be aware whether true or false idea is shaped in your mind; this will help in knowing your capability, this helps in being you. Most importantly we need to be reasonable, we need to let ourselves free while being mindful that we make mistakes, being mindful that we have challenges to overcome. We need to accept our strengths and short comes, this helps us grow our true self.
Once we have the right idea formed in our mind and associate it to a story in our past, present and even our future self, then we can make a decision that minimises harm, and maximises benefit for ourselves and others around us. What remains are relations and forces between stories, these relations are what count in forming our view of the world and our view of ourselves. So we need to choose our stories carefully, live our life while feeling ok with ourselves and decisions we have made, and give ourselves room to overcome mistakes and challenges. This helps us to reconnect our stories with new and carefully chosen ideas and share these with others.
Human beings live in a probabilistic environment; It feels good to take right actions to interconnect with others, this helps us bring together our individual selves and to form new alliances. The fact is that everyone and everything is interconnected, this interconnectedness is messy and yet it is linked through the seeds of our higher self in connection with others.
By imagining our emotions as our most important feature, we give ourselves the opportunity to feel things and to be present with others. However this is only possible when we have the courage to face our emotions, sometimes emotions can be so intense and strong that it is hard to face them, so we put them in a box to come back to them or we project them to others. However in order to truly make things interconnected, we need to organise and categorise our emotions, and to do this we need reasoning, we need us to be the judge of ourselves and to make decisions accordingly. Therefore by being aware of our probable decision making process and our mind associating our emotions in events and stories with reality (our reality), we can make more educated decisions in our environment and make a link between our reality and the more objective reality.
We need to choose our actions carefully and not overflow ourselves with information, therefore we should take careful decisions on how we choose our actions, and to be aware of our decision making process. By knowing our impact on others as well as ourselves, we can have an awareness of our interconnectedness. This makes difficult things easier, this makes things worth fighting for, this makes things real.
