We all have been in situations where giving up is easy. But there is hope for a new possibility if we try a little more. We can be a realistic optimist, or in another word, it is helpful to be pessimist and tactical at times, but our overall strategy, outlook and goal in life needs to be purposeful and positive. There is no point in thinking everything is wonderful, when it is not. It helps to push ourselves little bit more sometimes, and at the same time to be mindful that sometimes things are difficult, sometimes we don’t have answer and that is ok, we need to accept this as part of life. We can build a better life foundation by not having prejudice towards ourselves and others, and also know that we are not perfect, and we need to try and we need to grow, and our only task in life is to look after ourself and help others.
This non prejudice can be achieved by being aware, and flexible towards ourselves and others. We need to be flexible toward helping others and also flexible toward helping ourselves. We can only achieve this by being aware. This awareness stems from inter-relational communication and it is not in form of knowledge, it is more intuitive, it is more creative, it is a state of being. We need to be ready to know what reality itself holds for us, we need to be sure that there are ups and downs, and we cannot go through life journey alone, we need companions, we need others, as much as they need us. We need to have awareness of relations between people, relation between us and objects and our relation with others, as well as our relation to ourselves.
We need to remember that our life is interlinked to others, and it is part of our life to experience ups and downs. We need to remember that in our journey of self discovery we are not alone, our individual self is part of a bigger self, and that is part the whole community. As we make new experiences and learn new things we get to understand that life as a whole is divided into different parts and these parts also have their own self and make up bigger selves. Therefore the more we are in tuned with our smaller and bigger selves, the more we get to experience our true authentic self. This can be done by doing a little more everyday to help ourselves, and unpack our unwanted thoughts and beliefs around our smaller and bigger selves.
